Broussard Brothers was established in 1947 with one tug boat in Chalmette, Louisiana. We expanded our company in 1959 by moving to Intracoastal City and increasing our service to cover a larger area. Over the years, Broussard Brothers has progressed from six acres of low-lying marshland to over a mile of developed waterfront property. We are located between mile marker 161 and 162 on the Intracoastal Waterway one half mile east of the Leland Bowman Locks, right on the Fresh Water Bayou Channel.

Broussard Brothers provides a variety of services to the oilfield community which include: Oilfield & Pipeline Construction, Marine Transportation, Tug Boats, Deck Barges, Mud Barges, Shale Barges and Crew Boat Rentals.

Broussard Brothers also maintains an excellent "Dock and Crane Facility", which is available to our customers 24 hours a day. Our team of people are not only authorities in their field, but also provide the commitment and quality service that our customers desire and deserve.
