Dual Solar Centaur Gas Turbine Compressor Module

This package consists of 2 gas turbine compressors. Each unit consists of a Solar Centaur Model T-4002 (4000 HP) driver and model C3066 series centrifugal compressor installed in a standard Solar enclosed 8'x24'x10' modularized skid. The equipment also includes complete process piping and control components installed in a 30'x55'x38' structural package. The package equipment includes inlet and discharge scrubbers, valve systems, control systems, coolers, and a compressor building with overhead crane and utility systems. This module was designed and maintained by Solar. It was also decommissioned by Solar and is in storage at our Henry, La yard. It was in good running condition upon decommissioning and could be totally re-wheeled and brought to zero hour (with warranty) where it is and shipped anywhere in the world. In order to duplicate this module it would cost $8,500,000 and 2 years engineering, procurement and construction time. The original package was built in 1978 but with upgrade work done in 1995 and 1998. One of the turbines is rated at 3800 hp and the other 4500 hp. The 3800 hp is the original Centaur rating (in 1978) the 4500 is an uprate that was done in 1995. The compressors have been restaged and are now designed to work in series. The weight of the package is 275 tons.
