Barges

Spud barges and barge rental services consists of a large fleet of deck barges ranging from 100 to 150 feet. We also have certified E Liquid Mud Barges and Coast Guard approved Shale Barges. Some of our larger barges have 40 to 150 ton cranes that prepare locations for drilling rigs.

Spud Barges
We offer a variety of spud barges with power units to transport and work equipment at your site, they range in size from 110x30 to 140x38.

Pipelay Barges
Broussard Brother's pipeline department has installed various sizes and lengths of pipeline from Texas waters, throughout the marshes, inland and near coastal waters of Louisiana as well as Mississippi and Alabama.

Deck Barges
We also have many standard deck barges(120'x30') to choose from, all with pipe stantions. We also have standard deck barges with pollution rings.

Crane Barges
Broussard Brothers has a wide variety of crane barges available to handle the smallest of jobs to the major projects.

Shale Barges
Choose one of our U. S. Coast Guard "Certified Shale Barges" for your next drilling project. The barges are 120'x30' with four shale compartments.

Liquid Barges
Broussard Brothers has several certified liquid barges for rent. The average size of the barges are 120'x34' with diesel powered mud pumps on board.
